ATLANTA, GA -- November 25, 2005 -- Microcross, Inc. releases a GX-Linux platform for the Freescale i.MX21 LiteKit that starts shipping on 29 November from Freescale Dev Tool Direct. The i.MX21 target processor runs at 266 MHz and is designed for low-power, low-cost, high performance products for multimedia applications, including portable devices such as cell phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, medical devices, kiosks, etc.
The GX-Linux Professional Platform comprises the following components:
Freescale Dev Tool Direct has i.MX21 LiteKits in stock, and Microcross has the complete GX-Linux professional platform ready to order and ship on the same day. The professional GX-Linux board support package with the Visual X-Tools IDE and toolsuite are priced at $3,000 and includes 90-days free technical support.
