Microcross Releases Visual X-Tools™ IDE v4.2

ATLANTA, GA  --  December 11, 2007 -- Microcross released Visual X-Tools™ IDE v4.2 supporting its flag ship product, GNU X-Tools™ that was released earlier in November. Both products support professional embedded development for seven (7) microprocessor families: ARM, Blackfin, M68K/ColdFire, MIPS, PowerPC, SuperH, and XScale.  Visual  X-Tools™ IDE, now in its fifth year of shipping, is setting the benchmark for quality, low-cost, and professional development tools for embedded systems. The Visual X-Tools™ IDE is powed by the award winning SlickEdit™ v11.0.2 product and GNU X-Tools™ v4.2 cross-development toolsuites. Pricing: A single seat of GNU X-Tools™ is priced at $600 each and includes free 30-day setup support. Together with the GNU X-Tools™ cross-compiler toolsuite is priced at $1,600 per seat and comes with one year of email tech support.
